Peter Hay, the senior partner of the firm, was admitted as a solicitor in 1973. He relocated his practice to Richmond in 1993, having worked in central London as a partner of a large City firm.

Peter’s area of expertise covers all aspects of property, the individual private client, the family and small to medium sized businesses. He builds longterm professional relationships with his clients which are based on mutual trust and loyalty. He encourages in depth strategic planning and strives to keep things simple and in perspective. Peter has particular expertise in personal taxation and his experience and contacts are considerable. He has a number of clients who live abroad for whom he sets up offshore companies and trusts which are often used to channel their inward investment into the UK. Peter is an accredited mediator with The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution.

Having played rugby for London Scottish in its heyday, Peter now enjoys golf at Royal Mid Surrey and Sunningdale. He is married with three children.
